Marketplace Applications
Our marketplace is visited by tens of thousands of people when they come to celebrate Pride. This page contains all the information you need to apply + attend our marketplace. Terms and Conditions (and our FAQs) are at the bottom of this page. We regularly update this with more information as it becomes available.
Submit an Application / Request a Quote
We require all organisations to complete an application form (including pre-approved organisations) so we have all the details necessary to generate a quote + organise your attendance. Please note, your stall is not confirmed until payment has been received and Pride Canterbury have approved your application. Thank you so much for your help with this. If you have any questions while we review your application, please contact us.
Applications open one day after the most recent event, until the deadline of 2nd April. Due to high demand, we are unlikely to be unable to accept applications after this deadline; after the deadline, please apply ASAP to join the waiting list and you must contact us so we are aware of your late application. Apply early to avoid disappointment. Applications are typically reviewed within one month after the application deadline, prioritising those that have applied first.
Documentation Requirements + Upload
Before the event, we require all pitch holders to submit £5M Public Liability Insurance using the form below. If relevant, you must also submit Food Safety Certificate(s), Gas Safety Certificate(s), and PAT Certificate(s). Your documentation must be valid at the time of the event. If you insurance and/or certificates expire prior to this, then submit your current valid documentation to complete your application. When you renew these documents, please then re-submit them as soon as possible prior to the event.
Information + Terms and Conditions
The contents on this page are considered the terms and conditions of booking a marketplace stall / pitch at Pride Canterbury. In addition to this page, all suppliers + attendees are required to adhere to our General T&Cs.
If you have any issues at the event, you should not attempt to resolve this yourself + should instead contact our team.

Pitch Location
In the week leading up to the event; you will be contacted with your Pitch Location. Pitches will be pre-allocated + based on the pitch you purchased and applied for. If you require a specific pitch or have a particular request, please contact us. Please note that for these requests and/or for requests made on your application, they will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed.Site Access
Site Access for all traders during set-up will be from Castle Row – click here for Google Maps directions. For those coming in vehicles, you will need to access Castle Row from the ring road, not via Castle Street. On entry, you will be met by one of our team who will confirm your pitch location, provide stallholders wristband accreditation for everyone working on your stall + direct you to your pitch. If no Pride Team member can meet you directly at the gate due to being with other stallholders, you will be directed to Pride HQ where you will then be looked after. -
There is no parking on-site + vehicles may not remain on-site during the event. Exceptions to this are only with written permission from Pride Canterbury. Please refer to our General T&Cs for specific terms and conditions related to vehicles.
Parking can be difficult in Canterbury; we recommend arriving early (within the set-up + shutdown times stated above) to ensure you can park. Car parks surrounding the event site will have reduced capacity or may be closed as a result of our event. Click here to see all available car parks.

We have a Fast Track entrance to allow speedy exit + re-entry during the event opening hours, only for approved stallholders. When you arrive at the event, you will have been provided with stallholders wristband accreditation for accessing this. This will be via Marlowe Avenue – you can see this on our map titled “VIP + VFP Fast Track Entrance”.
If you have staff arriving later in the day, you will be required to meet them at the Fast Track Entrance and issue them directly with their stallholders wristband accreditation to use this entrance. If you cannot do this, then they must enter via Castle Row Car Park (the Main Entrance) and then collect it from you at your stall directly.

If you are looking to book an exclusive partnership, please contact us to discuss — we’d love to hear from you! Please do not assume you have an exclusive trading agreement with us, unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
We review applications carefully for the trading + promotion intentions you have requested. You must not trade or promote anything outside of this, without asking us to amend your application, as this could result in a clash with an exclusive agreement. We also use this information to provide you with the most suitable pitch location, so it’s important this is accurate. Please contact us if you need to check your application.
No products in glass bottles may be sold. No products must be given in glass packaging.
We will not be accepting stall holders or vendors who sell alcoholic or cold drinks. Food and coffee vendors may sell bottled water at 500ml for £2 in 2026. Ice cream vendors can also sell 330ml soft drink cans at £2 in 2026. No other drinks may be sold. There are free water refillable stations for attendees on-site.

There are no water or gas services on-site. Electricity can only be provided to food + drink vendors if requested in your application and approved in-advance (a surcharge will be incurred which must be payable at the end of the event). Our electricians will be on-site throughout the event to ensure the requirements you requested have been met. Please remember that all portable electrical appliances must have an up-to-date PAT certificate.
Please ensure you have submitted a copy of your latest and current in date Gas Safety Certificate.
Please ensure that you bring your own fire safety equipment with you on the day.
-
Due to the limited WiFi within Canterbury, we cannot offer any WiFi services for card payments. We have found that card-payment machines can be temperamental during the busy event, so we are strongly advising all vendors to carry a cash float, in-case the local network has any issues.
-
It is expected that you will limit any unnecessary waste and leave your pitch clean + presentable, as you will have found it. We will have a dedicated cleaning team during the weekend, but we ask that you use and encourage people to use the bins provided around the site.
-
Any potential allergies (i.e. nuts) must be clearly signposted for customers. Please make sure that you clearly list a list of allergens in your food to avoid allergic reactions from event participants.
Please ensure that you submit an electronic copy of your most recent Food Hygiene Rating Certificate and the Food Hygiene & Safety certificates for those attending and working at the event.

Any and all traders are required to use more sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics. The following are examples; but not a definitive list: wooden cutlery, no single-use plastic carrier bags and cardboard food packaging containers. Pride Canterbury is a responsible event. If it is essential that you use single-use plastic for food safety purposes, please discuss this with your Account Liaison for permission.
-
If you encounter an emergency at your pitch, please notify the nearest member of security. In the event that the wider event encounters an emergency, please quickly close your stall + make it safe, then follow all instructions from security.
